Its been a rough few days. So far Sadie, Gavin, Levi, Kim and Ellen have been hammered by the flu. That leaves Lydia and I to go! They have each been flat out for two or three days. This is complicated by the fact that our toilets flush with river water and there is no river water at the moment. That has made me the bucket brigade! The river water is being “diverted” by people further up the pipe line so they can water their gardens. It has just been dry…. we need rain desperately. It is just hot, dry and windy at the moment.

Ellen needs to get well soon since she is teaching 3 days at Moffat and every day at the local primary school.

Over the next few days Ellen and I will try to get something loaded to the web that we hope will help us stay in touch with our friends and family. We have no Idea how this will turn out. It is hard to know what people want to know about what we are doing so we will do our best to be creative. My fear is that people wont be that interested. I guess time will tell! What I do hope is that we hear more from all of you about what is going on in your lives! We will always deal with missing everyone and everything. Living cross culturally has  its challenges.

For all our CFC FAMILY….. ELLEN FOUND WAFFLE CRISP AND HONEY COMBS AT THE LOCAL SUPER MARKET!!! That is a huge find as you well know!
